The world of soccer is still a man’s world, but with great courage and dedication one woman has triumphed and secured a ringside seat for herself among the ranks of the truly great sportscasters.

Katrin Müller-Hohenstein is the fifth woman to ever present the weekly sports review "Das aktuelle Sportstudio" on ZDF. Since 2006, the former radio moderator commutes between her home in Munich and the broad-casting studio in Mainz.

Her refreshingly direct and bold presentation style, along with her sporty charm sets her apart from the drabness of studio uniformity. The only thing she loves more is to be right where the action is, directly on-site. Whether soccer or Olympic Games, when she meets up with her interview partners, she scores just as many points with her charismatic personality as with her knowledge.
