No other comedian is so close to the absurd routine of daily life. Hape Kerkeling, one of Germany’s most popular entertainers and television stars for over 20 years now, presents a pretty accurate picture of everyday madness with the characters he portrays.

His appearances as the slightly grubby local journalist from Grevenbroich are legendary; unrivaled his Queen Beatrix in the media satire »Total Normal« (Totally Normal). But he also proves his remarkable versatility as Uschi Blum, Siegfried Schwäbli or Evje van Dampen.

Numerous prestigious awards, including the GOLDEN CAMERA AWARD from HÖRZU, are evidence of this. His last big coup: the entertaining rating hit »Unterwegs in der Weltgeschichte« (On the Go in the World of History) starring – who else – Hape Kerkeling in all relevant roles.
