Prize winner Morgan Freeman - Catgory "International Lifetime Achievement"

HÖRZU honors the American actor, producer, and director Morgan Freeman with the GOLDEN CAMERA AWARD in the category "International Lifetime Achievement".
The popular actor finally received international acclaim with his role in "Driving Miss Daisy" (1989). His outstanding performance earned him one of his many Oscar nominations. In 2005 he was awarded the Oscar for his role in "Million Dollar Baby." Morgan Freeman has appeared in front of the camera in more than 80 productions, including cinematic classics like "Robin Hood", "Seven", "Deep Impact" and "Invictus". But he has also starred in his own productions, like "Under Suspicion".
"The name Morgan Freeman is synonymous with acting excellence. He can portray great personalities like no other, regardless of whether the character is the President of the United States, Nelson Mandela, or even God," says HÖRZU.
